At Centre dentaire et d’implantologie LaSalle, we warmly welcome new patients. Whether it’s for a dental emergency, an examination and cleaning or any other consultation, we’ll reserve a time slot that suits your needs.

During your first visit, we’ll get to know you better. A clinical and radiological examination will help us assess the condition of your mouth. Based on your needs and expectations, we’ll inform you of the solutions available for you.

Course of the first appointment

Duration: 2 hours
You will first be greeted by our dental care coordinator, who will review your medical questionnaire and medication list. She will then ask you a series of questions to help us better understand your needs and expectations. You will then meet with the dentist, who will perform a complete dental examination.
This examination includes an assessment of:

Teeth;

Gum;

Tongue;

Soft tissues;

Palate;

Inner cheeks;

Mouth and tongue cancer screening, intraoral and panoramic x-rays;

Photographs of the inside and outside of your mouth;

Measurements to screen for periodontal disease and occlusion (teeth meshing);

Temporomandibular joints;

Muscles of mastication;

Head and neck lymph nodes.

After the in-office visit, your dental hygienist will perform basic scaling and polishing.

We’ll take the time to explain the problems we’ve identified. We’ll also give you personalized instructions to help you improve your oral hygiene. We’ll also discuss treatment options, their duration and the sequence of visits required. Finally, we’ll inform you about fees and payment terms. Most importantly, we’ll answer all your questions.

Cancellation policy

Since the time slot has been reserved specifically for you, we kindly ask you to notify us a minimum of 48 hours before any cancellation. This gives us the opportunity to offer your place to another patient.
